My lawn and landscape journey began in 2013. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, and doing about anything outdoors. The perfect day would be fishing in the early morning as the sun rises followed by a mid-day round of golf. Then chilling with the family by the fire pit in the back yard under the stars.
Joe Tamburello

I have been in the Lawn Care Industry since 1998. I have a beautiful wife and 2 amazing little girls. In my free time enjoy playing golf, being outside, traveling with my family, watching sports and listening to stories around a roaring campfire!
Matt Tamburello
Owner/Certified Applicator/Shop Foreman
My brother Joe and I started working in lawn care in 1998. My wife, Miranda and I have 2 girls and a boy. We love being outdoors, fishing and traveling when time allows.
Tyler Hester
Trainer/Certified Lead Applicator
Tyler has been part of our extended family since 2019, when he began working with our parent company, Big Creek Outdoors. From day one, Tyler stood our for his strong work ethic, leadership qualities, and eagerness to learn. In 2025, he was promoted to join Big Green Turf Management, where he continues to impress with his ability to identify lawn issues, diagnose problems and clearly communicate with customers. His growing knowledge of the turf care industry makes him on of the best in the business, and we're proud to have him on our team. When he's not helping our customers achieve healthier, greener lawns, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife, exploring the outdoors, and diving into a good video game.
Thomas Kirby
Certified Applicator
Thomas is one of the newest members of the Big Green Turf Management team, joining us in 2025 after working for another company in the industry. With three years of experience under his belt, he brings a solid foundation of knowledge and a strong work ethic to every property he treats. Since coming on board, he has hit the ground running - eager to learn, grow, and master the Big Green way of lawn care. His attention to detail, willingness to adapt and commitment to doing things right make him a valuable addition to our team. Were excited to have him on board and look forward to watching him continue to grown in his role.
Training & Certification
All of our applicators are certified through the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Every year, each applicator is required to renew their license as well as participate in in-house training sessions. All applicators go through state mandated re-certification training every third year.
