The owners of Big Green Turf Management don’t just work in the community—we live in it. As residents of the Creekmoor community, we believe strongly in giving back to the neighborhood that supports our business. One of the ways we do that is by sponsoring and hosting an annual Kids Fishing Derby, an event designed to bring families together and create lasting memories for local children. Being able to invest time, effort, and resources into events like this is something we genuinely look forward to each year.

This year’s Kids Fishing Derby was a great success and a fun day for families in the neighborhood. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and while the fishing itself was a little slow, we welcomed over 70 kids who came out ready to have a great time. Families enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, and all the fixings, and the Kona Ice truck was on site to help keep everyone cool. Every participant went home with a fishing pole, event shirt, goodie bag and tackle box. Even though the fish weren’t biting much, the smiles and laughter made it clear that everyone had a wonderful time. Getting kids and families outdoors is something we truly believe in, and as avid fishermen ourselves, there’s nothing better than seeing kids experience the joy of fishing and spending time outside with their friends and families

We proudly service and care for over 300 individual homes the Creekmoor community alone, and that level of involvement motivates us to reinvest in the community in meaningful ways. Supporting local events, youth activities, and neighborhood initiatives is a big part of who we are.
